About the Sub-centre

Established on 22nd January 2025 at the Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Gwalior, this newest Centre of Excellence under TCOE India represents a strategic initiative to promote telecom innovation and regional ecosystem development in Central India. Located at one of Madhya Pradesh's premier technical institutions, the sub-centre is uniquely positioned to serve as a hub for DeepTech innovation and advanced telecommunications research.

With a strong focus on Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) technologies for 6G networks, the sub-centre combines cutting-edge research in radar systems, AI/ML-enabled signal processing, and advanced communication technologies. The centre is rapidly building a vibrant ecosystem that connects academia, industry, startups, and students to drive innovation in emerging telecom technologies including quantum communication, agentic AI, and semiconductor design.

Integrated Sensing & Communication (ISAC)
Advanced research in converged radar and communication systems for 6G networks, enabling simultaneous sensing and communication capabilities.

6G Communication Technologies
Development of next-generation wireless communication systems, including terahertz communications, intelligent reflecting surfaces, and ultra-massive MIMO.

AI/ML in Telecommunications
Application of artificial intelligence and machine learning for intelligent signal processing, network optimization, and autonomous communication systems.

DeepTech Innovation
Research and development in cutting-edge technologies including quantum communication, agentic AI, VLSI design, IoT, and robotics.
